Sejahtera Legal was established in Petaling Jaya with a specific intention: to offer family law services that do not add to the distress people are already carrying. The name itself — sejahtera, meaning wellbeing and prosperity in Malay — reflects what we hope for every client who walks through our door.
Our founders saw, across years of legal practice, how much the manner of handling a matter affects the experience of it. A divorce conducted with patience and transparency is a very different thing from one that feels combative and rushed. Custody arrangements reached through honest, child-centred conversations hold together better than those won through argument alone.
